Brian Bowers founded NFL Flag NJ in 2014 and has been the Delbarton School head football coach for 25 years.  Prior to coaching at Delbarton, Bowers spent the early part of his career coaching football at the college level at Stony Brook University, University of Pennsylvania and Williams College.  Coach Bowers believes in learning to enjoy the game at a young age by learning the fundamentals through flag football.  While playing at Union College, he learned to love the possibility of coaching football.

Melanie Bowers founded NFL Flag NJ with Brian Bowers in 2014.  She's been around the football environment for 25 years with Coach Bowers and manages the NFL Flag NJ website, registration, jersey/gear orders and billing inquiries. Melanie also works full time as the Database Manager for the Delbarton School Advancment Department.
